Shezar is the most popular of the bunch, and has gained a following outside of Brazil in more recent years. The Editora Abril stories from Brazil were known for introducing some unique and interesting characters to the mix. When fans complained in correspondence to the comic letters column, Editora Abril totally changed gears and started releasing issues featuring reprints from the UK comics, Star Marvel comics, and most notably, brand NEW original stories, several of which featured artwork by the amazing Watson Portela.

The first several issues of the comic series featured rather subpar adaptations of Filmation episodes.
A lot of fans have been asking for this one, and here it is! This is an English translation of the Brazilian Portuguese-language Masters of the Universe Story, 'The Submarine Mystery', featuring a cult-favorite villain/anti-hero among MOTU fans in Brazil - the aquatic invader, Shezar! This story was released in 1987 and comes from issue 17 of the Editora Abril comics from Brazil.
